GEORGE REINBLATT
Book / Lyrics / Music / Director
George Reinblatt writes comedy, stage musicals, and roasts (and yes… he’s the only person who combines all of those things). In theatre, George wrote the book, lyrics, and co-composed the Off-Broadway show Evil Dead The Musical (which has mounted over 500 productions worldwide, and the cast album hit #4 on the Billboard Charts for cast albums). In television, George has written for five Comedy Central Roasts, including the Roast of Justin Bieber. Other select credits include: Hate The Player: The Ben Johnson Story, Mr. D, Roast Battle Canada, The Burn, the MuchMusic Video Awards, NBC New Years Eve, Howard Stern’s Birthday Bash, Just For Laughs, and more. George has written comedy for the likes of Steve Martin, Seth Rogen, Snoop Dogg, Kevin Hart, Jewel, Martha Stewart, John Cleese, Kelly Ripa, Blake Griffin, Joan Rivers, plus countless others. He’s been nominated for 6 Canadian Screen Awards in television, and Evil Dead won both a Dora Award (Audience Choice – Toronto’s Favourite Show) and the Korean equivalent of a Tony (The Musical Award). Predictable Holiday Rom-Com is George’s second stage musical.
